For over 20 years, Kate has worked with beginner riders and knows what makes a truly special horse for them. She's not a horse trainer and she's not a horse trader — she's a horse lover who enjoys a barn full of well-behaved, enjoyable-to-ride, experienced horses.
Each year she purchases one or two horses for the ranch, and occasionally offers them for sale when younger horses come up the ranks or one of our competition horses retires from competition life.
Every horse on this page has been ridden by beginners and experienced riders alike, both in the arena and on the ranch. They have to prove themselves before they're sold as a Highbrow Ranch horse.
